Chiroactive is a chiropractic practice nestled in Adelaide’s inner southern suburbs at Melrose Park.
Since 1994 we have been serving the local community and providing personalised chiropractic care.
We are proud to be the only location in Adelaide where you can experience the Cox 8 Flexion Distraction table in action. The Cox 8 Flexion Distraction Table is a premium adjusting instrument that enables the chiropractor to apply Cox Flexion distraction technique for treatment of the whole spine. In fact it’s so comfortable to lay on that patients at our clinic often elect to ‘take a moment’ to enjoy their relaxed state before rising after treatment to get on with their day.
For those who want to see a chiropractor, but have concerns about ‘being cracked’, Flexion distraction offers a great alternative. The technique is still hands on but uses slower movements providing decompression of the spinal segments to restore mobility. The slower pace enables the chiropractor to carefully monitor the patient’s tolerance and response to treatment and to adjust the intensity accordingly. Other techniques offered include manual hands-on adjustments, drop piece adjusting, Neuroimpulse (instrument) adjusting, the use of Thumper Massagers and K-Laser. We also offer general Posture Checks and Footlevelers orthotics. We welcome anyone who would like to have a 3D scan of their feet and a discussion about them with no pressure to buy anything.
We recognise that we are here to serve the public. We always endeavour to listen to and engage patients, clients and members of the public with professionalism, courtesy and enthusiasm. We love questions, and are here to help, so if there’s ever anything you’d like to ask us about, make sure you get in touch.
